The flood control situation is very serious. The disaster affected the hearts of the Party Central Committee and the people of the whole country. General secretary Xi Jinping pointed out that leading cadres at all levels should always put the protection of the people's lives and property in the first place, take the lead and rely on the preceding command, promptly organize flood prevention and relief work, properly reposition the affected people, strictly prevent secondary disasters, and minimize casualties and property losses.

The Party Construction Bureau of the SASAC Association of the State Council and the party committees of the directly managed associations also pay close attention to the disaster in Henan. On July 20, the party construction working group of the SASAC Association sent a message for help. Zhengzhou children's welfare home safely transferred more than 600 children to the Party School of Zhengzhou municipal Party committee at the first time. However, a large number of fast food, bread, milk, water, instant noodles, ham sausage, emergency drugs and other materials are urgently needed.

After receiving the help information, the Party committee of China Building Materials Federation attached great importance to it. Yan Xiaofeng, Secretary of the Party committee, requested to immediately send a message in the party organization work group of the building materials federation system, calling on units with conditions and channels to actively assist in the implementation. China nonmetallic mining industry association, China Decoration Materials Association, China brick and tile industry association, China Building Materials Machinery Industry Association, China Building Materials Industry Economic Research Association, national building materials exhibition and Trade Center, China building materials magazine and other units immediately forwarded help information in their respective work groups and member groups, Wang Wenli, Secretary General of China non metallic mineral industry association, personally contacted the Henan mineral products market, a member unit in Henan, and actively coordinated the implementation of the rescue.
