According to the notice of the China Building Materials Market Association on approving the "Antibacterial Wood-Based Panels" group standard project, the National Building Materials Exhibition and Trade Center and the National Materials (Beijing) Testing and Certification Service Co., Ltd. are responsible for organizing the preparation of the "Antibacterial Wood-Based Panels" group standard. The period is from June 2020 to June 2021.

Since the beginning of the year, the new crown pneumonia epidemic has become a common challenge facing the world. The test of the epidemic has made health and hygiene awareness popularized and enhanced among consumers. As an important decorative and structural material, wood-based panels are widely used. Wood is the most common base material for wood-based panels. Because wood is easily eroded by insects and microorganisms and can cause mildew, discoloration, and decay, it is necessary to treat wood-based panels with antibacterial treatment. However, my country's standards for antibacterial wood-based panels are relatively few and not yet complete. It is urgent to formulate this standard to provide a basis for the design, purchase, production, and sales of antibacterial wood-based panels.

In order to make the content of the standards more scientific, broadly applicable and representative, and to ensure that the standards are completed on time, the China Building Materials Market Association, the National Building Materials Exhibition and Trade Center, and the National Materials (Beijing) Testing and Certification Service Co., Ltd. will be jointly responsible for the organization A "standard drafting group" is established, and the participating units are now solicited from the whole country. The participating units include but are not limited to: wood-based panel manufacturers, research institutions, design institutions, industry associations, inspection institutions and other units. Intended to participate in the compilation, please fill in the return receipt (see attachment 1), affix the official seal and return it.
