In 2021, the proportion of days with good air quality in cities at prefecture level and above reached 87.5%, making China the country with the fastest air quality improvement in the world. The proportion of classⅰ-ⅲ excellent surface water sections reached 84.9%, close to the level of developed countries. A national soil environment monitoring network covering 80,000 sites has been established, and the trend of worsening soil pollution has been effectively curbed... A recent press conference themed "China in this Decade" introduced the tremendous changes that have taken place in the quality of China's air, water and soil environment, and the achievements were inspiring. These changes are closely related to everyone's life and serve as a vivid reminder that a sound ecological environment is the most beneficial to everyone's wellbeing.

There is no substitute for the ecological environment. It is not easy to use it. With the economic and social development and the continuous improvement of people's living standards, the ecological environment plays an increasingly prominent role in the people's happiness index, and environmental issues have increasingly become an important livelihood issue. From proposing that "a sound ecological environment is the fairest public good and the most universally beneficial wellbeing of the people", to pointing out that "economic development is for the people's wellbeing, and protecting the ecological environment is also for the people's wellbeing", to emphasizing that "the environment is the people's wellbeing, green mountains are beauty, and blue skies are happiness",
