Laboratory » Starting from April, this kind of test report should be stamped with CMA mark or CNAS-approved mark

Recently, the Ministry of Ecology and environment issued a notice on key work related to the management of greenhouse gas emission reports for enterprises in 2022, the“Guidelines for accounting and reporting of greenhouse gas emissions by enterprises, power generation facilities (revised edition 2022)” was updated in the form of an annex to the notification. The head of the Department of Climate Change of the Ministry of Ecology and environment stressed in his interpretation of the main contents of the“Notice on key work related to the management of greenhouse gas emission reporting by enterprises in 2022”, sampling, sample preparation, test and benchmark conversion of coal-fired samples from key emission units in the power generation industry, the relevant standards stipulated in Table 1 of the“Guidelines for accounting and reporting of greenhouse gas emissions by enterprises, power generation facilities (2022 revision)” shall be implemented. From April 2022, within 40 days after the end of each month, key emitters in the power generation industry shall issue a test report on element carbon content through a testing institution/laboratory certified by the China metrology certification (CMA) or the China National Accreditation Commission for Conformity Assessment (CNAS) . The test report should also include the test results of carbon content, low calorific value, hydrogen content, total sulfur, moisture and other parameters of the sample for cross-validation of data authenticity. The Test Report shall bear the CMA qualification identification mark or the CNAS accreditation mark seal.
